Sager Brewing

Style Info: Berliner Weiss Wheat Ale

Nerd junk: OG: 1.033 ABV: 3.2 IBU: 7.2 Yeast: Wyeast German Ale

A traditional German Berliner Weiss. A low ABV wheat beer that has been soured using a sour mash method. In this method, un-milled grain is used after the mashing step to facilitate souring overnight with the lactobacillus that un-milled grain is teaming with. The beer is typically served in Berlin with a syrup to balance out the sourness but to me the sourness is the appealing feature of this beer.
